Welcome to the amazing baby® forum. We’ve designed this section so you, the parent of all those amazing babies out there, can use it as your space to discuss baby-related and book-related issues that concern you most. It’s very simple to use, but there are a few house rules we’d like to share with you first.

Registration

To post a topic, or comment on a topic, you must sign up to the amazing baby® website. Registration is free and quick and easy to do. All you need is a valid email address and a screen name and password.

Screen Name

When you sign up you’re asked to pick a screen name. This is the name that appears alongside any comments or topics you post. We recommend you don’t use your full name or any personally identifying information. Why not choice a nickname, or a name that refers to something you like.

Privacy and Data Collection

When ask for your email in the registration process, it’s only so we can administrate the forum. We won’t contact you unnecessarily or pass your details onto anyone else. If you’d like to sign up for news about amazing baby® books and products there is a sign up box on the home page of our site.

Netiquette and tips for posting
  1. DON’T SHOUT – i.e. write in capitals.
  2. Keep your posts short and to the point. Long paragraphs can be hard to read on screen.
  3. Don’t use excessive txt speak, it may put some people off.
  4. Make sure your topic title contains some specific information about your post.
  5. Treat people with the same courtesy you would if you were speaking to them.
  6. Don’t ever post personally identifying information, full names, addresses, telephone numbers.
  7. No threatening, rude or antisocial behaviour please. We want to let the forum conversations flow, so don’t have formation moderation on posts. However we will remove any posting that are obscene, threatening or that break the law. If you feel a post is threatening or breaches this rule, report it by clicking on the Report This Post link alongside the post. We look at every Reported Post as soon as we possibly can.
  8. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. We were all newbie posters once, and you’ll find members are always happy to help.
